The San Diego Dragon Boat Club hosts several teams that successfully compete in local, national, and world championship events. Included are men and women paddlers in  every age division from juniors to grand masters as well as specialized teams including college students and cancer survivors.

New members are invited to join at any time. We welcome everyone from those with no paddling experience to world class athletes interested in competing at the international level.

Practices are held at the Youth Aquatic Center located at 1750 Fiesta Island Rd., San Diego, California.

Practices normally occur on Sunday mornings with times and schedules adjusted throughout the year to accommodate specific training needs and race schedules. We are "on the water" at the appointed hour so most paddlers are at the site at least 15 minutes before practice begins and new paddlers arrive approximately 30 minutes early to receive some initial orientation and instructions.

Next practice is Sunday, 2/28/10 at 8:00 AM
Please be at site15 minute before practice time

OPEN HOUSE for FIRST TIME participants
Due to the unsettled weather, no open house is scheduled this weekend
(you can come to the team practice listed above)
Open to any adult who wishes to try the sport
